So I have been in a posting funk. Actually I have just seemed to have always found better things to do with my time. My sister was here for 2 months, soccer is in full swing, and I have been playing a decent amount of poker.

Since I am never going to find the time to write reviews for all of these I figured I would just give you my grade for each of these for now and maybe mention a few later on in extended reviews.

The Best of the Bunch - Buy These

The Killers - Hot Fuss - A+ (Incredible. I am upset I missed them at Trees a few weeks ago)
Modest Mouse - Good News for People who Love Bad News - A+
Franz Ferdinand - Franz Ferdinand - A+
Wilco - A Ghost is Born - A (would have gotten an A+ if it weren't for the feedback on "Less than you think")
Elefant - The Sunlight Makes Me Feel Paranoid - A (Saw them at Trees last week. They were great. One of the best albums of 2003)
Interpol - Antics - B+ (This one could go higher with more listens)
Dios - Dios - B+
Iron and Wine - Our Endless Numbered Days - B+ (very subdued, you need to be in the right state of mind for this)
Secret Machines - Now Here is Nowhere - B+ (They live up to the good reviews)
Polyphonic Spree - Together We're Heavy - B+
Snow Patrol - Final Straw - B+ (This one grew on me over time)



Borrow these unless you have some extra cash
PJ Harvey - Uh Huh Her - B+
Scissor Sisters - Scissor Sisters - B (Very, Very catchy)
Ben Kweller - On My Way - B
Beastie Boys - To the 5 Boroughs - B (Better than I expected)
Lenny Kravitz - Baptism - B (Another better than expected)
!!! - Louden Up Now - B
Keane - Hopes and Fears- B
A.C. Newman - Slow Wonder- B (I am a New Pornographers fan)
Of Montreal - Satanic Panic in the Attic- B
The Cure - The Cure (2004) B-
Colder - Again- B-
The Ponys - Laced with Romance- B-

If you buy these, get them used or from the bargain bin
Badly Drawn Boy - One Plus One is One- C+ (I was expecting better)
Mirah - C'mon Miracle - C+ (It's pretty, but...)
Destroyer - Your Blues - C+
cLOUDDEAD - Ten- C+ (some good songs on here)
Blonde Redhead - Misery is a Butterfly- C+
Animal Collective - Sung Tongs- D- (too choppy, what is this?)
Hella - Hold Your Horse Is- D- (this is older but don't bother)
