Beulah this evening

It is late enough in the day that I won't be backing out of tonight's Beulah and Dios show at Trees in Dallas. I have been listening to Beulah for several years and have skipped them when they have been in town in the past for one reason or another. Tonight I have no excuses. There are times when I talk myself out of going to shows the evening of the show. Reasons range from the band going on stage late on a weeknight to all the freaking smoke in the bars that I get so sick of. But, with it being close enough to the weekend, I don't mind the late show as much. So I go.

Drive-By Here

Patterson Hood, lead singer of the Drive-By Truckers, will be coming to Dallas June 9th and playing at All Good Cafe in Deep Ellum. I really enjoy the Truckers, so I am sure I will enjoy his new solo album (Killers and Stars), but haven't heard it yet.
